Website Project Policy
Effective Date: August 5, 2026
1. Overview
This policy outlines how MUSÉE Creative plans, builds, and delivers website design and development projects. Full terms are defined in each signed proposal or service agreement; this page summarizes the shared expectations that guide every engagement.
2. Project Kickoff
Projects begin once the signed proposal and initial retainer are received. Timelines are estimates based on the agreed scope and start after kickoff materials, content, and required access have been provided.
3. Client Content Deadlines
Clients are responsible for providing complete text, imagery, logos, and brand assets by the deadlines outlined at kickoff. Missed content deadlines may shift the launch date and, in extended cases, incur additional fees.
4. Revisions & Approvals
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds. Approvals must be provided in writing at each milestone. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate.
5. Hosting, Domains & Third-Party Tools
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client owns and maintains their domain, hosting, SSL certificates, and any third-party subscriptions or plugins used on the site. MUSÉE Creative can advise on selection and configuration but does not assume ongoing responsibility for accounts owned by the client.
6. Launch
The website is launched once final approvals are received and the outstanding balance is paid in full. Launch dates are coordinated with the client and may be adjusted based on content readiness and third-party dependencies.
7. Post-Launch Support
Any post-launch support, maintenance, or retainers are defined separately from the initial build. Minor launch adjustments within the first 14 days are addressed as part of the project; unrelated changes fall under a support agreement or hourly work.
8. SEO Expectations
MUSÉE Creative applies current best practices for on-page SEO, structure, and performance. Search rankings are influenced by many external factors, and no specific placement or traffic outcome is guaranteed.
9. Project Abandonment
If a project stalls without client communication for more than 30 days, MUSÉE Creative may close the project and retain payments already received for the work completed. A new engagement may be required to resume.
